Prizes

There are great prizes available for the winners of both the Online Jury Prize and the 24/7 Filmmaking Challenge this year, so if you’re still debating whether to be involved or not then cast your eye over what’s on offer and see if that wets your proverbial whistle.

The winners of both categories will each receive one of the Reduction Recycled Trophies – designed especially for the festival and photos of which will be uploaded just as soon as they are finished.

The first place winners of the Online Jury Prize will be awarded the coveted title of ‘Audience Award for Best Environmental Short Film’ and receive a cheque for £1000, not to mention a pride of place position for their film on our front page until the next competition takes place.

The first place winners of the 24/7 Filmmaking Challenge will be awarded the title of ‘Jury Prize for Best Environmental Short Film’ and receive a cheque for £2000 to split amongst their filmmaking team as they see fit, as well as equal billing on the front page until the next competition takes place. A selection of the films produced as part of this competition will also benefit from our distribution agenda following the festival.
