There is a pressure to produce publictions for online viewing, to reduce paper useage. However, people often end up printing out lengthy documents because it is easier to read words on paper than it is on screen. It is for most people more pleasant to read from paper. The argument for not printing tends to ignore the vast electronic infrastructure, power consumption and consumerism necessary to enable us to read things electronically.

This film should consider the benefits of the printed word – the personality of the printed word and how they feel on recycled FSC paper!
